Anti-Racism Launch, Join us on the Journey

2 months ago Fri 23rd Aug 2019

Last Friday, Transport for Ireland (TFI) and the Immigrant Council of Ireland unveiled their annual anti-racism campaign on public transport.

The launch took place at Heuston Station where drivers representing all operators - including Charles Nyagwaya, a Bus Driver with Go-Ahead Ireland - came together to support the initiative and talk about their own experiences.

The creative campaign is based on hundreds of selfies donated by passengers that have been amalgamated to create a large montage representing  diversity on the TFI's public network (see above). The campaign, entitled 'Join us on the Journey' will run for a week and feature on bus sides and social  media.

We would like to thank Charles for his contribution to this initiative and urge all Drivers and Customers who experience racism to report it immediately, and join us on the journey.
