Drive For a Company That's Going Places

Drive for a company going places

Be a bus driver for Go-Ahead Ireland at either our Ballymount or new Naas depot.

Late last year we aimed to be not only Ireland’s newest bus operator but also the best, and in mid-2018 we started operations from our new Ballymount base in Dublin. Following on from our successful launch, we now have additional bus driving vacancies at our Ballymount depot and our new depot in Naas.

The Naas depot is due to open in Summer 2019 and will operate Dublin Commuter services, currently provided by Bus Éireann.

We are asking, if you would you like to become part of a large, well established international group, and wish to join a team of dedicated professionals, at either one of our locations.

This is a role that requires commitment, numeracy and literacy, and the talent to communicate with our customers and other colleagues.

We’ll give you all the necessary training to gain your bus driving licence, so long as you’ve held a full car driving licence for at least 2 years and meet the medical requirements. If you already hold a category D, bus licence and have a good track record as a bus or coach driver, great!... we’d love to hear from you as well.

You’ll be using all your customer service and safe driving skills on the busy streets of the city and the surrounding region on our Commuter services. As well as comprehensive paid training, our generous package includes post-training earnings of up to €32k, contributory pension scheme, overtime and outstanding career development opportunities.

As buses run 364 days a year, your shifts will include early starts and late finishes including weekends and public/bank holidays.

Don’t miss the bus... email for an application form today and help to drive Ireland.

**When submitting your application please advise which depot you would be interested in being based from **
