Bus Driver - Ballymount, Dublin

Go-Ahead Ireland, one of Ireland’s newest and most ambitious companies, is recruiting Coach Drivers to be based in both Naas and Edenderry to drive a fleet of new and modern coaches. In addition, we also have Bus Driver vacancies based in our depot in Ballymount, Dublin.

If you already hold a category D, bus licence, and have a good track record as a bus or coach driver and have customer service experience, we would love to hear from you.

We are also accepting applications from individual who currently hold a B category, car driving licence, who are looking for a change in career.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and professionally driving our modern fleet of coaches in service
  • Building trust with our customers, and assisting them where required with a high standard of customer service
  • Working to a varied schedule of driving duties, including early starts and late finishes, as well as weekend and public holiday working
  • Carrying out a daily check of your vehicle and its equipment (eg. ticket machine) to ensure it is in working order

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

  • Car driving licence for minimum of 2 years (for all bus driver vacancies)
  • No pending motoring offences at the time of application
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • 2 years driving experience
  • Reasonable numeracy and literacy skills
  • Great customer service

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €32,000.00 to €40,000.00 /year
