Zero Bound

Go-Ahead Ireland recently launched Zero Bound, our latest road safety initiative and a collaboration with the Road Safety Authority's "Vision Zero" as part of our broader campaign, Driving Towards Destination Zero.

 

At the launch event held in our Dublin depot, approximately 200 colleagues from across the Go-Ahead Ireland business participated in activities centred on key road safety messages such as driver distraction, fatigue, driving under the influence, speeding, and first stop and last use checks.

 

We are proud to connect over 18 million passengers annually in a safe manner and initiatives such as Zero Bound and the broader emphasis on ‘Vision Zero’ are important to the work of our team and the services they provide on a daily basis.

Commenting on the collaboration, Niamh Swords, Operations Director of Go-Ahead Ireland said: "At Go-Ahead Ireland, we're proud to be Dublin's best performing public transport bus provider, and we are just as proud that safety underpins all that we do.

 

"As we grow we will continue to instill our safety culture while providing comprehensive training to all our colleagues.
