Our commitment goes beyond ;we strive to make a positive impact on society by partnering with local organisations, supporting community initiatives, and promoting sustainability.
What We Do:
Go-Ahead Ireland operates a range of public transport services, ensuring safe and convenient travel for our passengers. In terms of community support, our services include:
- Special Ad-Hoc services tailored to meet community needs during events and festivals.
- Accessibility-focused transportation to ensure inclusivity for all passengers.
- Working with community leaders, including An Garda Síochána and schools, to address anti-social behavior concerns throughout our network.
- Supporting fundraising and awareness efforts, both physically on our fleet and online.
What We Offer:
1. Community Partnerships:
- Collaborations with local schools and educational programs to promote safety and environmental awareness.
- Sponsorship of sports teams and events to encourage active lifestyles and community spirit.
- Collaborations with local businesses, councils, and resource centers through sponsorships, donations, and joint community projects.
- Working together with both local and national charities to support their fundraising and/or awareness efforts.
2.Support for Vulnerable Groups:
- Providing accessibility-friendly transport for annual events, such as quiet buses for the Dublin Pride Parade and accessible transport for the Newbridge St. Patrick's Day Parade.
- Attendance and participation at Age Friendly Reliance meetings.

Sponsorship Committee
As part of our commitment to supporting colleague and community engagement, we are proud to have a dedicated Sponsorship Committee.
This committee allows colleagues from across the business - from drivers to facilities staff and everyone in between - to nominate an organisation each quarter. These organisations can be from the communities we serve or close to a colleague's heart.
Each quarter, €3,000 is available for colleagues to request funding. The Sponsorship Committee, comprising eight colleagues from various departments, reviews and selects the successful applications.
